Traudl and Eva discuss Fegelein's flee is a scene in the extended edition of Downfall that is rarely used in parodies.

In Downfall

In her room, Eva Braun and Traudl Junge are smoking cigarettes where Traudl mentions that Hitler will be furious if he learns that Hermann Fegelein is gone. Eva hopes it's not what it might be and that Hitler would never forgive him. They then blow the smoke out of the mouths into a vent above Eva's dresser where they are standing. Eva feels sick about the whole thing as her sister is carrying his child. Traudl comforts her by telling her not to be so glum, but Eva points out that she only knows Hitler as a benevolent person and that he can be quite the opposite.

In Downfall Parodies

Given its rarity, it's quite possible it hasn't been used in any parody, largely due to it being one of the shortest scenes in the film and a lack of anything to exploit for comedic purposes much like an earlier scene.

  • Traudl and Eva won't be the only two characters in a scene until Traudl's last chat with Eva.
  • At this point in the movie, this is the tenth scene featuring Eva and Traudl out of fifteen total.
