Schenck and Müller in a truck is a scene in Downfall that is rarely used in parodies due to the cold-blooded murder of two men in the scene.
Max Müller is driving a truck with Ernst-Günther Schenck beside him. Upon hearing a few gunshots, Schenck tells Müller to stop. Shortly, two elderly Volkssturm members reach the truck and ask them for their help to escape the Greifkommando, a loose party of SS, Wehrmacht, and other Germans hunting down traitors and deserters. However, they eventually grab them and take them back. Muller asks if he should continue driving, but Schenck decides to follow the soldiers. Müller grabs his MP38 and follows Schenck.
The Greifkommando party is later seen beating up the two men until Schenck demands them to stop and to leave them alone asking what is going on. The Commander of the party explains that the two men are to be shot for desertion and treason. Schenck says that the men are not soldiers rather civilians and they can't shoot them.
The commander shoots the men immediately, and taunts Schenck and Muller, "Who could stop me? You, maybe?" Müller raises his gun and orders them to stop. The rest of the Greifkommando also raise their weapons, but after realizing they're in a Mexican standoff, they all lower the weapons and leave.
In Downfall Parodies
This scene is used in only a few parodies, most of them story-based, due to the gruesome nature of it. MabusParodies used this scene in his parody entitled "Nazis execute Untergangers", alluding to the DMCA takedowns that Constantin Film did against Downfall parodies.
The scene is also used in Joster285’s series, The Console Wars (the extended version to be precise), and in Ebenezer Hitler: A Nazi Christmas Carol by Pikachu. In the context of the former parody, the Greifkommando troops are portrayed as hardcore PC gamers, while the Volkssturm members are portrayed as Angry Birds players.
