JennieParker87 is a Swedish/Spanish/Norwegian Untergangerin. She officially began making Downfall Parodies on the 9th of December 2012.

History

Her channel was originally dedicated to episodes of the American TV show "JAG". She uploaded several episodes each week. However, after being warned by a friend that such activities could lead to "legal actions", she removed all episodes and her channel went into "resting mode". Later on she realized that there wasn't any danger, but she decided to stay low anyway.

Quite some time later, someone sent her a link to a Downfall parody. The "Original bunker scene" with Swedish subtitles. It was called "Krismöte hos SD", and it became very popular in Sweden. This is because it made fun of an incident caused by some members of the controversial political party "The Sweden Democrats" (SD), which is seen by many Swedes as a nazi party "in disguise".

JennieParker87 got inspired and decided to make some parodies herself. She has always loved video editing, so this was a great opportunity. She made a few parodies using the Original bunker scene, with Swedish subtitles. Her family and friends liked the videos, and they encouraged her to make more of them. She didn't know how to find the other Downfall scenes without subtitles, until the day when she found the "Downfall parodies resources index".

Once she had all the scenes she needed, she started making parodies like never before. However, she didn't start to upload them until December 2012. Her biggest project was to create a parody film, almost 2 hours long, although it couldn't be uploaded due to copyright issues. But she is planning on editing the movie and uploading it in shorter parts again.

Her first uploaded parody was "Hitler phones Blackadder by mistake". Shortly after, she started uploading a series called "BunkerSpaß", but because of each episode's length (almost 17 minutes usually), she constantly had to take them down due to copyright problems, so she decided to remove them permanently. She is however planning on turning some of the episodes into mini-series, by cutting them up in shorter pieces.

Style

JennieParker87 enjoys making plot-driven parodies, although many of her current parodies don't have any real plots. This is because she also likes making "nonsense" parodies, as she calls them, both long and short ones, in which any crazy subject can be addressed. Some of her parodies are titled "Nonsense" and "A strange parody"; they are longer parodies containing all kinds of random scenes and strange lines. She adds all such parodies in a playlist, which can be found on her channel.

As many other Untergangers, she has been inspired by HitlerRantsParodies, TheSilverUniverse, KakashiBallZ, Vzorkic and many more.

She mostly uses Windows Movie Maker, sometimes Pinnacle Studio 16, and at times Sony Vegas has been used. She is intending on learning more about Sony Vegas though, since she is planning on using special effects in her future parodies.

Concerning ratings and comments

JennieParker87 has disabled ratings on her parodies. This often leads to questions from viewers, who wishes to know why. The answer is that she wants people to view her videos without any expectations; good or bad. Another reason is to avoid "trolls" who dislikes videos just to mess with the uploader. It's possible that she will enable the rating system in the future though.

The comments are restricted and must be approved before published; this is because she is fed up with all the irrelevant debates and insults that are so common on YouTube. She doesn't mind constructive criticism, but insults and bad language is not welcome. So to protect both herself and her viewers from irrelevant spam, she has decided to restrict the comments.
