The Hitler will scene is a scene in Downfall that is sometimes used in parodies.

In Downfall

In a room near Hitler's office, Traudl Junge opens a box revealing a typewriter. He tells her to first write using the notepad first. Hitler then begins dictating his political testament.

As she writes down his every word, Walter Wagner, escorted by Martin Bormann, enters the bunker and apologizes for his late arrival to Hans Krebs, Wilhelm Burgdorf and Joseph Goebbels, who replies, Yes, yes. Sit down.

Hitler finishes dictating his testament to Traudl, by claiming he defeated International Jewry and it's supporters, to which she looks at him shocked. Hitler looks at her and she writes it down.

In Downfall Parodies

The scene has been used in several parodies. Truckman is one of the Untergangers who used the scene. It was also used in JennieParker87's A strange parody 1. The mondegreen "Mindfuck" also comes from this parody/scene.

The scene is also used by CloneOfJoster285 in his Resolution Revolution series when Hitler orders Traudl to write down his amendments for the Console Union Act.

  • The scene in the extended edition differs a little. It features Traudl stopping by the Goebbels children's room before going to see Hitler which is primarily the previous scene.
