Margarete Lorenz, Ursula Puttkamer, Hanna Potrowski, and Hedwig Brandt are women from Berlin who have been brought to the Wolf's Lair along with Traudl Humps to be interviewed for Hitler's personal secretary position.

In Downfall Universe[]

All the women including Traudl are escorted into Wolf's Lair in the middle of the night. They are then greeted by Heinz Linge, who tells them that Hitler will begin to interview them after he feeds his dog. He then answers Potrowski's questions about greeting Hitler by telling them to say "Heil, my Fuhrer", and that the Nazi salute is not necessary for a secretary position.

Linge then announces to Hitler in his room that the ladies have arrived. All the ladies stand in unison adeptly as Hitler enters the room. He starts greeting all the women one by one, telling them that the greeting is not necessary after it is repeated several times. Upon greeting Traudl at the end, he immediately develops fondness for her and invites her into his room for her interview.

Upon passing the interview, Traudl tells the other ladies that she has become his secretary, and they all celebrate her "accomplishment", not realizing the bullet they actually dodged as shown by the rest of the film.

They rarely appear in parodies.

Trivia[]

  • Much like the Kranzes and Tellermann, all the ladies are fictional characters.
  • In all the greetings, Hitler asks where all the ladies are from. Lorenz is from Fulda, Puttkamer is from Frankfurt, Potrowski is from Pankow, and Brandt is from Crailsheim, Swabia.
